VP hails Saudi facilitations to Yemeni expats

Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh has hailed the facilitations that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia offers to Yemeni expat workers, in consideration of the hardship Yemenis are enduring as a result of the Saleh-Houthi militias' coup.

The Vice President made the remarks during a meeting with Minister of Expatriate Affairs Alawi Mohammed Ba-Fakeeh in Riyadh on Tuesday during which they discussed the issues that Yemeni expats face in host countries.

The Vice President expressed high appreciations and gratitude for Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Interior Minister Abdulaziz bin Saudi bin Nayef for their issued directives to grant Yemenis holding the Visitor IDs a regular residence status.

He said that history will not forget the continuous support Saudi Arabia offers to Yemen given the current ordeal Yemen is enduring as a result of the coup.

He also thanked the Malaysian leadership for extending the residence of Yemeni expats there for two more years. He also thanked all hospitable countries to Yemeni expats, including Egypt and Sudan.
