The Saleh-Houthi militias have assaulted a man,in his sixties, to death as he was pleading with the guards of an intelligence jail to allow him in to visit his detained son, the Alliance of Abductees Mothers said on Thursday.
"Ali al-Sowdidied of severe assault and dragging by the militiamen near the gate of the Political Security," the Alliance said in a press release.
"He had endured a long travel from Hajja hoping to be allowed to see his son. He stayed six hours in the Sun waiting, but was rebuffed and assaulted to death before the jail's gate."
The Alliance said,"this is a new in a series of systematic atrocities the militias have been committing against parents and their forcibly disappeared children in their jails."Such crimes "require that the local and international human rights groups take their responsibility."
