Minister: Underperformances Hajj travel agencies will be held to account

Minister of Endowments Ahmed Atiya said today that travel agencies that underperformed in services for the Hajj pilgrims will be held to account.
Today he chaired a meeting of an ad hoc panel set up for follow-up and evaluation of those services but started with discussing a preliminary report on the performance of the agencies.
The panel is tasked with preparing a final report. The transportation of Hajj pilgrims from Yemen to Mecca and between the holy shrines and hotels was largely good and free from accidents.
More than two million Muslims performed the Hajj rituals this year.
