Vice President Lit. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh has attended King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's annual reception for senior Muslim dignitaries engaged in the Hajj pilgrimage worship.
The Vice President presented his good wishes to the King and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the occasion of Eid al-Adhaha festivity.
He thanked the Kingdom for its enormous efforts to ensure a safe and successful pilgrimage for millions of Muslims.
King Salman welcomed his guests in a speech. He said "the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represents the heart of the Muslim world. Therefore, it realizes the hopes and pains of Muslims everywhere, strives to achieve unity, cooperation and solidarity in our Muslim world, and achieves security and peace in the whole world."
He added: "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has harnessed all its human and material potentials to enable pilgrims to perform a convenient Haj pilgrimage."
The King expressed delight in the Kingdom's win over terrorism, which warded off more attacks and dried up the finance resources of the scourge "relentlessly and with all firmness."
