Yemen, Cuba discuss latest developments

Yemen's Ambassador to Cuba Mohammad MohammadNasher discussed on Saturday with Director of Middle East and North Africa at Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs Roberto Blanco Domínguez issues of common concern and relations between the two countries.

Nasher, who expressed thanks and attitude of the Republic of Yemen for Cuba over its fixed attitude in supporting Yemen and its legal government, informed the Cuban official on the latest developments in the country and the government's keenness on realizing peace on the bases of the three foundations; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolution 2216.

For his part,Domínguez renewed his country's support to Yemen and its efforts for stopping the war and realizing peace.

Nasher handed over the Cuban official a copy of the report issued recently by the National Committee for Investigating Claims of Human Rights Violations.
