Yemen requests Arab health ministers to urgently meet

Yemen has demanded the Arab health minsters to urgently meet and discuss appropriate ways to tackle Yemen's humanitarian and medical situation and control of cholera.
Yemen Representative to the Arab League Riyadh al-Akbarion Thursday handed over a letter from Yemen Health and Population Minister Nasser ba-Oam to Egyptian Health Minister and Head of the Executive Office of Arab Health Ministers Ahmed Radhi, and discussed means of supporting Yemen to control cholera which has hit a number of Yemeni governorates.
For his part, the Arab League official affirmed that he will call for holding a meeting in the first half September 2017 to discuss Yemen's humanitarian situation, expressing readiness of Egypt to provide further humanitarian and relief assistances to Yemen.
