Counterterrorism Brigade to be re-opened as a police academy

The Deputy Minister of Interior for Human Resources Affairs has visited the Counterterrorism Brigade HQ in al-Tawahi, Aden, to take it over and later re-open it as a police academy.
Maj. General Abdullah Jaber said during the tour of the Brigade that his visit to it comes at the behest of President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi in preparation for receiving and rehabilitating and reequipping it to be reopened as a police academy affiliate to the Interior Ministry.
Jaber highlighted the importance of setting up an academy that graudates specialized security staff. Senior counter-terrorism, security and defense officials accompanied Jaber in his tour of the brigade.
