Yemeni, Jordanian officials discuss Yemenis' residence in Jordan

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Abdul-Malik al-Mikhlafi and the Jordanian Minster of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman al-Safadi on Sunday discussed here the entry and residence of Yemenis in Jordan.
The two sides expressed desire to reconvene the joint higher committee's meetings and renew protocols of mutual cooperation including the cultural cooperation.
Al-Mikhlafi reviewed Yemen's updates and efforts made by the e Yemeni government to reach a reconciliation which may terminate the Houthi-Saleh coup.
The foreign minister also spoke about the suffering of Yemenis in the governorates which are still run by the Houthi-Saleh militias, pointing out that the militias still commit crimes and violations against civilians on a daily basis.
In the meeting attended by the Yemeni Ambassador to Jordan Ali Al-Amrani, the Jordanian minister affirmed that his country stands by the Yemeni people and its legitimate government, asserting that Jordan participates in the Arab Coalition and that it will continue supporting Yemen.
