The European Union (EU), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Yemen have announced the signing of a 10 million euro (11.4 million USD) agreement to strengthen climate-resilient agricultural food systems, create jobs, build more sustainable livelihoods and boost economic recovery in Yemen.

Yemen, Somalia discuss bilateral relations

Yemen's Ambassador to Somalia Fadhl al-Haneq met Saturday with Somali Minister of Agriculture and Parliament Member SaeedEidand theydiscussed bilateral relations between the two countries.

Ambassador al-Haneq praised efforts of Somalia in supporting legitimate government in Yemen. He reviewed latest developments in the country and efforts of the government in ending suffering of Yemeni people via solutions based on the three references; the GCC Initiative, the Outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolution 2216.

He noted that efforts of the government are always curbed by Houthi-Saleh's rebels.
For his part, Minister Eid expressed his country's permanent support to Yemen's legitimate authority.
