Aden's Social Care Fund (SCF) has allocated YR. 572 million to be distributed to 41 thousand beneficiaries, said Isam al-Muqbili, the Director of the SCF's Branch here.
The fund stopped work after the war waged on Aden in 2015 and the government support to the beneficiaries halted, a matter complicated needy people's conditions, al-Muqbili told Saba.
He urged that they have worked on finding out alternatives for helping beneficiaries via small-size projects helping their livings.
After resumption work in the fund's offices across Aden, he said, the management worked on communications with civil society organizations and the Red Crescent for finding out assistances to needy beneficiaries and creating working opportunities.
Up to 47 food baskets have been distributed in Aden, he added and that they are working on qualifying beneficiaries via holding training courses to them and their children.
