Prime Minister visits Anad Military Base

Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid bin-Daghr paid a visit to Anad Military Base and discussed with commanders of the Arab Coalition and Yemenis the process of the military operations and beating Houthi-Saleh's militias in different fronts.

He was received in the base by Governor of Lahj Naser al-Khobaji, Commander of the Forth Military Zone General Fadhl Hassan, Commander of the Arab Coalition Ahmad Abu Majed, Commander of Saudi, Bahraini and Sudanese Forces and Head of Lahj Security Saleh al-Sayyed.

The UAE Commander Abu Majed briefed Prime Minister on victories against the militias, confirming that the duty of the the Arab Coalition's forces is protection the legitimacy and implementing the UN Resolution 2216 and other references, in addition to training Yemeni army and security in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Bin-Daghr praised efforts of the Coalition's forces and leaders of the countries making the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE for their support to Yemen and its government.

"We have achieved great field victories against the enemy and regained 80 percent of our country," said bin-Daghr, noting that Houthi-Saleh's militias have played by security and stability of the homeland with support from Iran, which poses a threat to Arab National Security.

He added that the Firmness Storm foiled Iranian expansion project in the region and formed a strategic grand force for protecting Arab and Regional environment against Iranian hegemony on the international pathways, led by Bab al-Mandab Straits and did its best to create clashes and chaos and spread terrorism and extremism.

He inspected the special operations chamber at the base to be informed on coordination and communication with warfronts.
