President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi received Wednesday a call from UK Minister of State for the Middle East at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office Alistair Burt and discussed with him Yemen's conditions and available peace efforts.
President Hadi valued efforts of the United Kingdom for supporting the Yemeni people since the process of political transfer, saying it has had positive and unique role in supporting the National Dialogue Conference and its outcomes, which they represented a spot light for the future of the new federal Yemen.
He renewed his full keenness on peace as national responsibility towards his own people despite practices of Houthi-Saleh's militias whose acts do not hint to peace, hindering the the peace references of the Gulf Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Regulation 2216.
He noted to suffering of the people over rebel militias' war on the country and destroyed the national economy and damaged people's livelihoods.
For his part, Burt expressed admiration of the president's efforts serving the interests of his people and realizing peace and stability, which are embodied by the existence of the government in the transitional capital Aden.
He pointed to keenness of the United Kingdom on realizing peace in Yemen in accordance with the three references.
The UK will remain keen, along with the international community, on supporting efforts serving the security and stability of Yemen, said Minister Burt.
