Yemen Ambassador to Cairo Mohammed Marim and Secretary-General of the Arab Medical Union Osamah Ralan on Tuesday discussed here the possibility of cooperation in the field of epidemiological surveillance, improvement of experiences, medical services, emergency and relief.
The meeting also reviewed Yemen's humanitarian situation in light of food insecurity, deterioration of medical services, and outbreak of diseases and epidemics, particularly cholera.
They also touched on the possibility of holding a symposium on outbreak of cholera in Yemen, measures taken to control it and raising of awareness amid people.
