VP calls on Taiz leaders to arrest troublemakers in the city

Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh has called on Taiz security leaders to arrest any violent troublemakers who commit acts of disturbance to the city's peace and order.

In a phone conversation with Taiz deputy governor ArefJamel and the commander of Taiz Military Axis, Maj. Gen. KhaledFadhel, the vice president was acquainted about the progress of military operations to drive out the coup militants from the city.

He highly valued the local authorities' efforts to keep peace and their special focus on countering the greater danger that the Saleh-Houthi coup militia pose.

The vice president called on the citizens of Taiz to cooperate with the security authorities to give the collective interest a leverageover the self-interests and restore the city's peaceful nature.

The deputy governor and commander, on their part, assured the vice president that the military authorities will not hesitate to arrest any troublemaker or continue their operations to regain the rest parts of the city from the rebels' control.
