The governor of Abyan Abu Bakr H. Salem visited the Yemeni-Kuwaiti Relief Agency in Aden today to discuss the agency's interventions in . Abyan this year
The governor gave the agency's chairman Ibrahim al-Qurashi an overview on the lingering effects of the Saleh-Houthi militias' war such as the damages in infrastructure.
To this, al-Qurashi responded by emphasizing his agency's commitment to maintain the relief aid supply to Abyan's health, education and water sectors. The agency will also contribute to the partial rehabilitation of damaged houses.
The governor's second leg in the tour was Yanabee'a al-Khayr charity foundation. With its leaders, the governor presented Abyan's needed projects affirming that the local authority in Abyan will facilitate the foundation's mission. The two sides discussed the water and educational projects that the foundation sponsors in the province.
