Crude oil prices fell in early Asian trading today, Tuesday, as investors' expectations of demand growth eased due to ongoing trade tensions between the United States and China.
Yemen's deputy premier and foreign minister Abdul-Malik al-Mekhlafi sent a cable of congratulations to His Highness Mohammed bin Salman on his promotion to a crown prince of Saudi Arabia.
The minister told Mohammed bin Salman that his appointment came as "an assertion of your merit to take this role and assume the enormous responsibility of serving the kingdom and Islamic and Arab world."
"We are confident that your appointment will be an important and new starting point in the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the region as a whole.
A new start promising wellbeing, hope and ambition for a better future. (We are also confident) that from this leading role will put Yemen in the future in the center of your attention as we have known you doing."
Minister al-Mekhlafi renewed his gratitude to the kingdom for supporting Yemen in its difficult times praying for welfare and prosperity for the Saudi leadership and people.
