ADEN-SABA
Two medical oxygen plants and four sterilization units arrived in Aden as a grant from the State of Kuwait to Yemeni healthcare centers on Wednesday.
The chairman of the Yemeni-Kuwaiti Relief Agency Abu Ismail al-Qorashi said: "The two oxygen plants that arrived in Aden today cost up to a million dollars and will produce 200-300 oxygen containers daily meeting the needs of no less than 10 provinces."
The four central sterilization units will bring benefit to a number of hospitals and healthcare centers in Aden, he said.
He made the remarks during the reception of the shipment equipment which arrived to Aden seaport. Aden's deputy governor Mohamed al-Muflahi and senior relief aid officials were present.
Al-Qorashi also announced the launch of a health aid campaign from Aden to all the liberated parts of the country.
In the same day, Kuwait sponsored the launch of a 2609 food pack distribution program to the people in need, in Saadah.
The grants come as part of the "Kuwait is By Your Side", a countrywide Kuwait-funded campaign to deliver badly needed humanitarian and relief aid to people afflicted by the Saleh-Houthi militia's coup.
