A meeting chaired by Deputy Governor of al-Mahrah Mukhtar Bin-Owaidh on Sunday discussed here measures and preparations for controlling cholera epidemic and how to firmly deal with it.
The meeting reviewed the registered cases of cholera in al-Mahrah, directing health centers and hospitals to do best to control the epidemic.
It further referred to the importance of raising awareness amid communities on ways of prevention, indicating that the cases toll amounted 9 in al-Mahrah.
