Minister of Information Muamar al-Iryani discussed Thursday with Chinese Ambassador to Yemen Tian Qi possibilities of signing memorandum of understanding to enhance information cooperation between the two countries.
They also discussed opportunities of granting scholarships to Yemeni students in China and training journalists in information field.
Minister al-Iryani and Chinese diplomat remembered Children Day marking 1st of June and al-Iryani expressed resentment over recruiting children by Houthis and dragged them into warfronts, confirming the Government of Yemen banned recruiting children.
Al-Iryani valued support of the Government of China to the government of Yemen.
For his part, Chinese Ambassador reaffirmed his country's support to the legitimate authority in Yemen, noting that it provided ¥ 150 million, in addition to other USD 5 million as assistances to Yemeni people.
He showed readiness of enhancing information ties and exchanged knowledge between Yemen and China, confirming his country government's attitude for peace process as basic necessity for Yemen's stability
