Culture Minister Discusses Strengthening Partnership with UNESCO to Protect Heritage

Al-Akwa': Aden will get additional 100 MW power

Aden, (Saba) -
Aden and neighboring governorates need 400 MW of power to cover their current needs, said Minister of Electricity and Energy Abdullah al-Akwa'a.
With adding the new plant of 60 MW output, the government will provide 230 MW of needed power, said al-Akwa'.
"During the three weeks on, 100 MW will be added…..; 60 MW will be installed at al-Mansoura district and 40 MW at
Khormaksar and the total available energy in the transitional capital of Aden will reach 330 MW," said the minister.
