Houthis brutally torture journalist, abductee

Sana'a (Saba)- The Abductees' Women Association has denounced the torture practiced against the abductee Jamal al-Mamari, pointing out that he was paralyzed and his health has badly deteriorated.

The association also revealed that the journalist, Tayseer al-Samae, who has been detained since last January, was transferred from Taiz to Dhamar and that his life in a real risk due to severe torture he is subjected to inside the prison.

The association demanded to release al-Mamari and al-Samae, holding the Houthi-Saleh militias fully responsible for their safety.

It also cited that a Houthi leader, who is called Abu Ali, directly shot fire on the mother of the abductee Abdullah Qaid Saif and two other men who tried to take her to hospital, making clear that she was shot while going to visit her son held in Mudaikherah district of Ibb.

The association reiterated that the mother is in a critical condition and that she is still in intensive care, indicating that one of those men who tried to take her to hospital died.
