Rabat (Saba) –Yemen Ambassador to Morocco Ezzedine Al Asbahi on Thursday met here with the coordinator of the UN Sanction Committee's panel of experts Ahmed Humaish, discussing Yemen's updates and conditions.
The ambassador thanked the panel of experts and its efforts to unearth facts on Yemen, stressing the importance of facilitating the panel's work in order to implement resolutions of the international legitimacy on Yemen.
"There will be stability in Yemen only if the situation put back on its legitimate and legal track and if all steps taken by the Houthi-Saleh militias are revoked" he added.
Humaish, for his part, highly appreciated efforts exerted by the legitimate government to facilitate the panel's tasks during its visit to the temporary capital of Aden and its meeting with military and security leaders.
He further asserted that the panel of experts is keen to visit the city of Taiz besieged by the Houthi-Saleh militias, closely know the reality and disclose violations committed by the militias and their use of lethal weapons against civilians.
He also said that the committee is investigating the movement of suspicious funds and blackmailing and illegal custom tariffs imposed on merchants.
