Riyadh (Saba)- Minister of the State for Parliament and Shura Council Affairs Othman Mujali on Tuesday met here with the Japanese Ambassador to Yemen Katsu Yoshie Hayashi, discussing Yemen's updates as well as bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, Yemen and Japan.

Mujali reiterated that the Yemeni government always seeks to reach permanent peace on the basis of the three basic terms of reference; the GCC-mediated initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference, UN resolutions, particularly the Resolution 2216.

Mujali highly valued the Japanese support provided to the Yemeni people and the legitimate government led by President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
