Minister of Public Works and Roads Eng. Hussein al-Aqrabi underlined the significant contribution of the People's Republic of China to the development of the roads network in the Republic of Yemen.
During his conversations today, Sunday, via video call, with the Charge d' Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in our country, Shao Cheng, he praised Beijing's long-standing support for the Yemeni people.
Al-Aqrabi sought for more Chinese cooperation in the businesses of public works, roads, and infrastructure.
The two sides also underscored the importance of resuming and activating cooperation on joint projects and working on completing the procedures related to signing a memorandum of understanding between the two countries in order to open new avenues for cooperation in the roads sector and construction projects.
The Chinese diplomat affirmed his country’s keenness to continue cooperation with the Ministry of Public Works and Roads, enhancing joint coordination to serve mutual interests.
