King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's Demining Project in Yemen, known as" MASAM" managed to remove 5653 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and improvised explosive devices (IED) from the beginning of July until the 24th of the month.
The Media Office of MASAM reported that 5,246 UXO, 310 anti-tank landmines, 72 anti-personnel landmines and 25 IED were removed, and 1,323,226 square meters of land were cleared.
It is important to note that 576,778 of landmines mines, UXO and IED were already removed since MASAM has started its demining mission in June 2018 until July 24, 2026, according to the Director of MASAM Osama al-Qusaibi.
Al-Qusaibi confirmed that 408,416 UXO, 152,202 anti-tank landmines, 7,587 anti-personnel landmines and 8,573 IED were removed and83,395,361 square meters of Yemeni land were cleared.
All landmines were randomly planned by the Iranian regime backed terrorist Houthi militiamen in different Yemeni regions.
