National Defense Council Holds Houthi Militias, Iranian Regime Accountable for Escalation, Approves Measures to Protect Sovereignty
The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) headed by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, held a joint meeting today, Monday, with the National Defense Council, (NDC) in the presence of all its members: Sultan al-Arada, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem al-Khanbashi.

Dr. Abdullah Bawazeer Calls on British Parliament to Support Yemeni People

The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Dr. Abdullah Bawazeer called on the British MPs to support the Yemeni people in their national battle to restore the state's institutions and eliminate the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias' coup.

During his talks today, in London, with British MP Taher Ali, head of the Parliamentary Group on Yemen, Bawazir highlighted the need for greater support by the UK to help the Yemeni government to manage the economic hardships and humanitarian challenges.

The PLC's Member blamed the Houthi terrorist militias for prolonging the conflict and worsening the Yemeni people suffering, saying "The terrorist Houthi militias have continued to block regional and international efforts aimed to bring peace, using ceasefire periods to rearm and develop their military capabilities".
