Vice Foreign Minister Mustafa Noman held a virtual meeting on Sunday with the non-resident Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Yemen, Anatolii Petrenko, to discuss bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest.

The talks reviewed cooperation between the two countries and exchanged views on a range of regional and international developments.

The two sides also discussed ways to strengthen diplomatic coordination between Yemen and Ukraine in support of their shared interests.

During the meeting, Vice Foreign Minister Mustafa Noman reaffirmed the government's commitment to following up on all outstanding consular and humanitarian issues. He stressed the importance of addressing such matters in accordance with international law and established diplomatic norms in a manner that preserves and advances the bilateral relationship.
