PLC Member al-Muharrami Receives UN Envoy, Discusses Developments and Peace Efforts in Yemen

Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Member Abdulrahman al-Muharrami met on Tuesday with the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, to discuss the latest military, political, and humanitarian developments in Yemen, as well as prospects for advancing the political process and peace efforts.

The meeting reviewed recent developments and ongoing efforts by the United Nations and the international community to revive the peace track and support progress toward a political settlement.

Discussions also addressed the issue of prisoners and detainees, including continued efforts to secure their release under the principle of “all-for-all” as a means of ending the prolonged humanitarian suffering associated with the conflict.
