The Minister of State for Woman Affairs Dr. Ahed Jassoss met today in the temporary capital Aden, with the French Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Katherine Corm Kammoun.

They discussed a number of topics related to woman empowerment, social gender, combat gender-based violence and the mechanisms of legal and social protection for women.

Jassoss sought for French support to help the Ministry to establish national database and provide women with the legal protection.

Separately, Minister Jassoss met with the Libyan Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Edris Abu Baker.

Yemeni-Libyan bilateral relations and cooperation were discussed, particularly topics related to women empowerment and building capacities.
