The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Lieutenant General Mahmoud al-Subaihi received today, Tuesday, at Maashiq Palace in the temporary capital Aden, the French Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Catherine Corm Kammoun.
Yemeni-French bilateral relations and cooperation was key focus of the talks.
They also conferred over the developments in the Yemeni national arena, the government's ongoing efforts to establish security and stability, improve basic services and manage the economic challenges.
Al-Subaihi praised French supportive stances in support of the internationally recognized Yemeni government and leadership, underling the importance of promoting Yemeni-French partnership and cooperation to serve the common interests.
The French Ambassador stated that France is interested in strengthening cooperation with Yemen and supporting regional and international efforts aimed at achieving peace and sustainable development.
She also demonstrated willingness to increase areas of cooperation, especially in training, and capacity building.
