The Minister of State for Women’s Affairs Dr. Ahed Jaasous highlighted the importance of firming up partnership with the World Bank (WB), especially in the field of economic empowerment of women, through supporting small and medium-sized projects.
Her remark came during her meeting today, Wednesday, in the temporary capital Aden, with the Vice President of the WB for the Middle East and North Africa region Osman Dione, the Regional Director of the WB Group, Stefan Guimbert, and the Director of the WB Office in Yemen Dina Abu Ghaida and a number of specialists.
