Yemen’s Ambassador to the Republic of Cuba, Mohammed Nasher, met with Cuba’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ana Yanci Rodríguez, to discuss the latest developments in Yemen and exchange views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting, Ambassador Nasher reviewed recent political developments in the region, particularly the ongoing situation in Yemen, as well as the efforts undertaken by the Yemeni political leadership and government to achieve economic stability, strengthen security and stability, and alleviate the humanitarian suffering of the Yemeni people resulting from the coup carried out by the Houthi terrorist militias.
For her part, the Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister reaffirmed her country’s supportive position toward Yemen and expressed Cuba’s keenness to strengthen the existing relations of friendship and cooperation between the two friendly countries across various fields.
