Dr. Al-Alimi praised the political, humanitarian, and development support provided by the European Union to Yemen, particularly its support for the humanitarian response plan.
He affirmed that this assistance has served as a vital lifeline for millions of Yemenis amid one of the world’s most complex humanitarian crises.
The Presidential Leadership Council member stressed the importance of backing the Prime Minister and the government to enable them to implement programs aimed at normalizing conditions in the liberated governorates and improving service levels.
He noted that the government is operating from the temporary capital, Aden, working from within the country, reflecting the state’s commitment to confronting challenges and meeting citizens’ needs.
Dr. al-Alimi also commended the pivotal role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting Yemen and its leadership, as well as its efforts in service, economic, and humanitarian fields.
