The Minister of Culture and Tourism Eng. Motea Damaj and the Chairwoman of the Jordanian National Heritage Fund, Chairwoman of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) - Jordan and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Cultural Heritage, Princess Dana Firas and the Representative of the American Foundation Zaydon Zayed initiated today, Saturday, in Amman, an international workshop on combating the illicit trafficking of Yemeni cultural property.

Al-Khanbashi: Netherlands' developmental interventions greatly valued

RIYADH - SABA
The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) and Governor of Hadramout governorate Salem al-Khanbashi met today with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Yemen Jennette Seppen.

They conferred over topics related to the Netherlands developmental interventions in Hadramout and government-held governorates.

The Wadi Hajar project in Hadhramaut governorate, funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, was key focus of the conversations.

The developments in the Yemeni national arena were also addressed.
Al-Kunbashi expressed his thnams and gratitude to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, deeply appreciating its developmental interventions.

The Dutch Ambassador reiterated her country's commitment to supporting the Yemeni government's efforts to improve the economic and living conditions.

She confirmed the continued interventions of the Netherlands in Hadhramaut and other governorates to contribute toward supporting stability, development and strengthening the capacities of local communities.
