Minister of Legal Affairs, Judge Eshraq al-Maqatri, has chaired a meeting in Aden to review the ministry's progress and discuss its 2026 plan. The meeting, attended by senior officials, focused on addressing challenges and improving coordination among departments.
Al-Maqatri emphasized the ministry's role in strengthening the rule of law and protecting state interests. She stressed the need to update work mechanisms, develop legislation, and enhance the capacity of legal staff.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of transparency, accountability, and access to legislation, aiming to boost confidence in the legal system.
