His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council ({LC) participated in the opening session of the International Security Conference, started today, Friday, in the German city of Munich.
Large number of heads of state and government, ministers of foreign affairs, defense and interior, as well as representatives from various regional and international organizations and bodies are partaking in the gathering.
President al-Alimi is set to be a keynote speaker at the World Conference in a discussion event on the security of waterways, with the continued threats posed by Houthi militias and the terrorist organizations they are allied with to international navigation, and the support required to improve the Yemeni government's capabilities to face security challenges, primarily combating terrorism, smuggling and cross-border threats.
