Minister of Youth and Sports, Naif al-Bakri met Thursday with French Ambassador to Yemen Catherine Corm-Kammoun.
He discussed with her ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in supporting youth and sports.
During the meeting, the Minister praised the steadfast position of the Republic of France in supporting constitutional legitimacy and strengthening Yemen’s security and stability, noting that these positions reflect the depth of historical relations and the shared commitment to achieving sustainable peace for the Yemeni people.
For her part, the French Ambassador reaffirmed her country’s support, along with the international community, for Yemen’s unity and stability under the leadership of the Presidential Leadership Council.
She also confirmed support for efforts to advance the peace process and intensify work toward humanitarian and social development in Yemen.
