The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Dr. Abdullah Bawazir met today, today, Thursday, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Yemen, Thomas Friedrich.
They discussed a range to topical issues, including Yemeni-German bilateral cooperation, relations, the latest developments on the Yemeni national scene and the ongoing efforts to stabilize the country.
The conversations also covered political, security and economic developments, efforts to strengthen state institutions, improve living conditions, alleviate humanitarian suffering in the government-held governorates, support the recovery process.
The PLC's Member praised greatly praised the German constructive role in supporting Yemen and its internationally recognized Yemeni government and leadership and backing peace.
He also deeply appreciated Germany's significant contributing to humanitarian and development efforts in our country.
The German Ambassador affirmed that Germany is interested in supporting the PLC and the Yemeni government and peace efforts.
Mr. Friedrich. reiterating Germany's commitment to supporting Yemen's unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
