The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) headed by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, held a joint meeting today, Monday, with the National Defense Council, (NDC) in the presence of all its members: Sultan al-Arada, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem al-Khanbashi.

Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces issued Decree No. (10) of 2026.

The first article of the Decree stipulates appointing Brigadier Khaled Yaslam Ali al-Qathmi as Commander of the 2nd Presidential Special Guard Brigade.

The second article of the decree states that it shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette and military bulletins.
