United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres said has said "What Hadhramaut Governorate is witnessing is a dangerous development and escalation".

Guterres pointed out during an interview with Al Arabiya and Al Hadath channels that the arrest of UN employees by the terrorist Houthi militias is unacceptable, confirming that his priority is to release them.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations expressed his great gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its efforts in the field of peace and diplomacy.
