Foreign Minister, Dr. Shaya Zindani, met today with the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg.

The Foreign Minister reiterated the Yemeni government's full support for UN efforts, emphasizing the government's readiness to cooperate with the United Nations and the international community in a way that contributes to alleviating human suffering and enhancing security and stability.

The meeting addressed developments related to the meeting concerning negotiations on the exchange of prisoners and detainees. Minister Zindani stressed the importance of achieving tangible progress on this humanitarian issue and the necessity of adhering to any agreements reached, ensuring the release of all prisoners and detainees without exception.
