The Director General of the Yemeni General Corporation for Radio and Television, Eskandar al-Asbahi and a Member of the Chinese Party Committee for State Administration of Radio and Television, Deputy Director Dong Xin, held conversations aimed to further promote media cooperation between the two friendly countries.

The discussions intended to explore mechanisms to boost media partnership through the production of joint media materials that reflect the deep historical and cultural ties between the two countries and organizing training courses for Yemeni journalists in the areas of modern media techniques, data journalism and the applications of artificial intelligence in media.
Al-Asbahi praised the historical relations between the two friendly countries, appreciating the positions of the People's Republic of China in supporting the peace process in Yemen and its continued support in the fields of health, education, and media.
He pointed out that the China-Arab Cooperation Forum in the field of radio and television represents a vivid embodiment of China's efforts to strengthen ties with the Arab world.
The Chinese official expressed his willingness to exchange media programs and productions, and to provide opportunities for Yemeni personnel to benefit from specialized training programs offered by Chinese institutions.
