Deputy Director of the Immigration, Passports and Nationality Authority Maj. General Abdul Jabbar Salem discussed today, Monday, with the Political Attaché Houston Hars and the Security Attaché David Shott at the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of Yemen ways to further boost joint cooperation and security and administrative development.
The discussions focused on the mechanisms for implementing a number of support programs provided by the U.S. government including the e-visa project, training and qualification programs aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the Authority's staff and improving their skills in security and service aspects.
The two sides emphasized their shared commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation and increasing partnership to help the Authority to improve its institutional performance and develop its technical and security capabilities.
