The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muammer al-Eryani discussed today, Saturday, with the Malaysian Minister of Communication Fahmi Fadhl aspects of cooperation in media and digital transformation.
The conversations also touched on the Yemeni government's efforts aimed to re-establish peace, security and stability even through the Iranian-regime backed terrorist Houthi militias have continued to refuse to come to peace.
Al-Eryani heaped praise on the Malaysian supportive stances in support of Yemen, greatly valued its significant contribution to the UN Humanitarian Response Plan.
He also voiced deep gratitude to the Malaysian government for its cooperation with the Yemeni community in Malaysia, namely the annual residence program for the Yemeni nationals.
The Minister stated that Yemen is keenly seeking to make use from the Malaysian experience in the digital media and AI and transformation to the smart platforms through establishing cooperation in capacity building for the Yemeni cadres in the digital media.
The Malaysian Minister stated that his Ministry is willing to actively cooperate with Yemen to promote joint collaboration in media and digital communications.
