His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) applauded the significant role of the Judiciary Authority in contributing to the ongoing comprehensive reforms program, appreciating its efforts to enforce the rule of law.
His remark came during his meeting today, Thursday, at al-Ma'ashiq Palace, with the President of the Supreme Judiciary Council Judge Mohsen Talib, the Chief of Justice Judge Ali al-Awash and the Minister of Justice Judge Badr al-Aridha.
The discussions focused on the topics related the Judicial Authority budget and the required measures to regularly pay the salaries of the judges and staff of the authority.
The conversations also touched upon the Authority's efforts to support the economic and monetary recovery plan in terms of enhancing transparency, good governance and controlling corruption.
The Chairman of the PLC restated that the PLC and the government are fully committed to enable the Judiciary Authority to do its job independently, facilitate its missions an enforce its rulings in accordance with the Constitution an Law.
