The Ministry of Industry and Trade held a pivotal meeting in Aden, chaired by Deputy Minister Salem Al-Wali, to discuss market conditions, inventory management, and consumer protection.
The meeting brought together deputy ministers, the Attorney General's Office, heads of chambers of commerce, and prominent traders.
The ministry emphasized the importance of collaboration with the private sector to stabilize markets and protect consumers. Al-Wali stressed the ministry's commitment to dealing firmly with price manipulation cases to deter violators and protect citizens.
The ministry will continue field campaigns to regulate prices and protect consumers, with a focus on transparency and publishing price lists in coordination with the private sector.
