Yemeni President Dr. Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, met with UAE Ambassador to Yemen, Mohamed Hamad Al-Zaabi.
During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed greetings from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and wishes for the President's health and happiness, as well as security, stability, and peace for the Yemeni people.
The President reciprocated with greetings to the UAE leadership and wished the UAE government and people progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them, as well as the latest national developments and the regional and international support needed for economic and financial reforms.
The Yemeni President praised the UAE's active role in supporting legitimacy, including its economic, humanitarian, and development interventions. He specifically highlighted the UAE's projects in the electricity sector in Aden and Shabwa, which have directly improved basic services for citizens.
