The Yemeni Ambassador to China, Dr. Mohammed Al-Maitami, participated in a meeting between Arab ambassadors accredited to Beijing and China's Special Envoy to the Middle East, Chai Jun.

The meeting aimed to exchange views on recent developments in the Middle East, particularly the Palestinian issue and the ongoing Israeli military escalation in Gaza

The ambassadors emphasized the need for China to play a more active role in supporting Arab causes, moving beyond statements to concrete actions, especially in stopping the aggression on Gaza and opening humanitarian corridors.

The Chinese envoy reaffirmed China's commitment to developing strategic partnerships with Arab countries and supporting just Arab causes.
