The Yemeni Embassy in Damascus and the Syrian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research have agreed to strengthen academic cooperation between the two countries.
During a meeting between Yemeni Chargé d'Affaires Mohammad Ba'kar and Syrian Minister Dr. Marwan Al-Halabi, both sides discussed ways to enhance partnerships between universities, develop joint academic programs, and facilitate the exchange of experiences.
The meeting also addressed the situation of Yemeni students in Syrian universities, with both sides expressing commitment to providing support and overcoming challenges.
The Syrian government has been facilitating the academic pursuits of Yemeni students, and the meeting highlighted the deep historical relations between the two countries.
