The Yemeni Ambassador to Germany, Luaay al-Aryani, met with officials from the Middle East department at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) to discuss humanitarian and development support for Yemen.

During the meeting, they reviewed the challenges and opportunities for German development cooperation in Yemen, emphasizing the importance of German support, particularly in the current circumstances.

The ambassador highlighted Germany's long-standing support for Yemen through international organizations and German implementing agencies like GIZ.
